Groundhog Day

Has anyone seen the film Groundhog Day? It stars Bill Murray who wakes up every morning to the same day over and over. Well....... another team, another sunny day, under a beautiful Mojácar sky. I look over at the scoreboards and get that familiar sinking feeling.... but wait what is this I spy on rink 3? A real ding dong battle going on with our valiant men’s pairs, the welsh wizard Dave Tapp and the new kid on the block Graham Downing .
Yaki da, boys, keep up the good work.
Also things have turned around on our own rink where, in an attempt to emulate our outstanding victory at Zurgena The Red Baron Von Weeks slots in another bowl to give us a six shots strike on the penultimate end.
So the last end just 16-17 down and all to play for, we have the jack, what could possibly go wrong......
Sorry, my avid readers, I cannot relate what happened next because of the tears in my eyes!
Suffice to say we didn’t win.
So it is a blooming great well done to Dave and Graham for getting our only point on the board with their hard fought draw.
