Steve Easthope Memorial Comp ~ 2019

 

 

 

A special all day drawn triples memorial competition involving 12 teams (chosen at random), was held on Friday 4th October to celebrate the life of Steve Easthope a past member of MBC ~ a special bloke. 

The days competition was fought out in a truly competitive, but no quarter given spirit, of which Steve would have relished.

A truly sunshine day ~ a great day to remember. 

The competition was later followed by an excellent evening Buffet and Trophy presentation laid on by Carmen at her new bar 'Cachica', good weather continued to favour the occasion that was enjoyed by many late into the evening. 

Throughout the evening, a special raffle was held with many raffle prizes, all monies raised to be donated to the Heart Foundation.

The evening buffet, festivities and prize presentations began with a floral presentation to Carmen by Chris and Roy on behalf of our Bowls Club

 Competion Runners up Team: Jan Gaughran, Tony Reynolds and Dave Cowling.
